1. About the service
Query Studio is a Google Sheets add-on provided by Educational Technology Simplified. It helps you create views, combine tabs, split tabs, summarize data, and match records within a spreadsheet. These terms apply to the add-on and this website. By using Query Studio, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Your access and responsibilities
You must have the authority to access and process the data you use with Query Studio. Use it lawfully and follow your organization’s rules, Google’s applicable terms, and the sharing permissions of your spreadsheet. If you use the service on behalf of an organization, you must be authorized to do so.
You retain ownership of your spreadsheet data. You are responsible for selecting the correct source tabs, settings, and recipients of your results. Creating or splitting tabs does not change the spreadsheet’s sharing permissions.
3. Review your results
Review outputs before relying on them, especially for consequential decisions. Results depend on your source data, its formatting, the selected settings, and Google Sheets behavior. Preview may use a sample. Snapshots do not refresh automatically; live views rely on formulas and available output space.
Keep a backup of important work. Deleting an output tab or using the add-on’s confirmed output-deletion controls also deletes any later edits in that tab. Processing limits or interruptions can stop an operation or leave incomplete output.
4. Acceptable use
Do not use Query Studio to access data without permission, violate another person’s rights, introduce malicious content, disrupt a service, or bypass Google’s or your organization’s access controls.
5. Privacy and support
Our privacy policy explains how the add-on and website handle information. Support is available by emailing educationaltechsimplified@gmail.com. Avoid including sensitive records in support messages.
6. Availability and changes
Query Studio may be updated, changed, suspended, or discontinued. Access also depends on Google services and your account or organization’s permissions. We do not promise uninterrupted access, a specific response time, or compatibility with every dataset or spreadsheet configuration. The current release is a beta, and features may change as it develops.
7. No warranty
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Query Studio is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of accuracy, uninterrupted operation, fitness for a particular purpose, or freedom from errors. These terms do not exclude warranties or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.
8. Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Educational Technology Simplified is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of Query Studio, including lost profits or business interruption. Nothing in these terms limits liability or rights that cannot be limited under applicable law.
9. Ending use and updates to these terms
You can stop using Query Studio at any time, uninstall it, and revoke its Google account access. Output tabs and saved settings may remain; see the deletion instructions in our privacy policy.
Updates to these terms will be posted here with a new effective date. Material changes will be identified on this website. Questions about these terms can be sent to educationaltechsimplified@gmail.com.
